Very broad and short course - and as the low tide was not very low (1.9m I think) the sandbar was never actually exposed above water. It was quite windy and as a result the course was very short, and choppy at the start and end. I would say only about 50m of the course was actually in any way 'flat'! or straight for that matter - good fun to be out in solid wind and exhillerating if not also terrifying trying to accelerate and also stop in a short distance!
