A nice sessi0n to try out my "new" fin. A 2nd hand Carpenter fin I bought from R. de Jong.
She is for a stronger wind situation on my JP Slalom Racing 85 with sails 7,4m2 and 8,2m2.
In lighter wind 9,0m2 and 9,4m2 I use Finish First 46cm or Z-fins SLM 46/47cm.
For some time I had even my sail with a little bit outhaul tension, so circumstances were good.
The BIGGEST surprise was how the fin handled in choppy circumstances, she made the board controllable in situations were I normally crash !
So Very Happy with this new piece under my board.
Not the most ideal circumstances but 59+ km/h 2 sec and 53+ km/h on the nautical mile with the big gear is fine for me.
No other surfers or seals !
