Session Details

Started the day very good with a first run of 56,6 on the gps. Later on set some other relative good speeds considering the circumstances. The wind was very gusty and small. When there was a gust, you immediately had to react otherwise it was over. The small chop in combination with the short gusts made it a little bit difficult to get the max speeds.
Then my mastextension broke and i had to swim upwind against the chop, i was doing allright, but in these situations you would be pleased if things went a little bit faster, the shore kept a long way from me. I got help offered by towing my board and sail, when i was doing that the board collapsed on the waves and the extension damaged my board, so the deck of the board has a big hole and need to be repaired. Just lucky my sail wasn't damaged.
The elite 39 medium fin felt better on the 8,4 than it did on the 7,2, although i prefer a hard one. After i changed the tuning of board and sail things are starting to get better, was pleased about my crosswindspeed, did some dragracing with Pieter, that was a good comparison.
