SICK DAY! Finally the tide dropped low enough to go to The Brace once again, it has been a while! at first the wind didn't really kick in and I lost a lot of energy due to the cold. the last hour the wind increased and we finally got some real power in the sails!! this place is magical!

run after run it was going faster, the new Tribal asy is truly amazing, lifting my board perfectly and keep it in controll at all times, I had a display max of 83 with my 50 wide speedboard and the 22 asy, so happy:D

3 PB's.. my highest run so far, highest peak and best 500m. all still very improvable but this is awesome!

Sessie 2: Voor het eerst met de asy Sonntag 23 gevaren, vin is goedgekeurd..! Speciaal upwind makkelijk terugvaren naar startpositie. De dag begon wat twijfelachtig maar gelukkig had Aeolus ons (vijf goedgehumeurde muskettiers) op het eind van de sessie nog een paar vlagen toegedicht. 2020 begint goed..! :-)

Mooie dag op de brace met Johan, Rolf, Raymond en Remco. Het water was super laag.In het begin niet heel veel wind, later meer. 1 mooie run van 79, jammer dat die andere runs niet wat beter waren. Maar voor een haakse baan over rechts wel tevreden met de tijden. 93Km op de brace, dat komt ook niet vaak voor :-)

Today I was in doubt between the dijk and the Brace.

The Brace looked really better in the predictions, so put the gear in the van and arrived just after Rolf.

Water level looked already very nice and the prediction was it should drop extremely low!

Walked the 2km to the spot and on the second run I already had a peak of 41kts/76kmh, unfortunatly the runs where low.

After the lowest point in the tide, the wind picked up really nice and I was able to do some fast runs. Exchanged numbers with Rolf and we had a nice battle until he got lucky with that insane fast run! Thumbs UP!!

After that nice session you need to do the same walk back.......................................

Gerlof bedankt voor het lenen van jouw reserve trapezetouw. Zelf heb ik ook bijna altijd een reserve mee maar je zult net zien dat als je deze een keer niet mee hebt je touwtje breekt. Daarom erg bedankt voor het lenen. Voor de rest kreeg ik vandaag het spul niet lekker op gang. De oorzaak was ik zelf. Ik had stond er heel verkrampt energieloos op.
