Weer een spannende sessie met Oane Kingma. Prachtig op het wad. Wel grillig. Een paar dikke buien met harde vlagen. De windrichting was eigenlijk iets te ruim waardoor we niet echt langs de dam konden blijven varen. Hierdoor was het hoogtelopen in de chop.  

Things did not go my way today...

First run before switching to the Sonntag I had a small spinout in the run up to the course, which didn't let itself be recovered. A small crash followed with a snapped harness line as a result. Replaced that on the water with a new one I always carry with me.

Then made 3 runs,with the 3rd being a decent 66.5 run. But as I went back upwind all of a sudden the screw of the front footstrap snapped! I never bring any spare screws, however today I did just in case I would lose one while swapping fins in the water. So I used one of those screws to attach the footstrap again, albeit not as firm as before. Also, by the time that was done the water was coming in quickly and I decided to start heading back, which wasn't a walk in the park either with those waves...

All in all an eventful day, but not enough time for 5 runs. Such a shame! As Fred showed, the course was good enough today!e Big congrats on your speeds today man, well deserved!
