First day of our trip to LF with Pat & Dennis.

We arrrived when a starting tramontana blew away the last raindrops. Fine wind to test the Loft SpeedBlade 5.9 for the first time on a speed course: approved!.

In the evening the wind picked up quite a bit, so my set became too large. Decided not to re-rig, saving my energy for the next day(s).

Fine first day with a lot of international kindred spirits

Very happy to be here again !

Today was a perfect warm-up for tomorrow. Wind started very light at noon, wanted (and I should have) to take 86l + 6.2m but the other guys took small speedboards and sails, so I followed. 

Had fun on this small set but it wasn’t much. In the evening the wind picked up, 25-35knts, but I was too tired to be very fast. 

My buddy Vince had an amazing topspeed, respect for that, must have been an epic gust haha

Evening, more wind. Vincent congrats with your fastest topspeed ever sailed by a belgium human. Looks promising for tomorrow.

Afternoon, not so windy. 

nice day verry happy with the top speed but the wind wasn`t that muche 

reddy for to morrow 

First day of three here at speedsurf paradise :) day started rather frustating with low speeds on 6,4 and 50 speed, towards the evening there were some nice gusts and i used the ca 44 here for the first time, could improve my PR 5x10 sec by a bit and in a good slingshot i got 42kts+ for the first time, happy with today, tomorrow looks very good for even higher speeds :)

Eerste keer varen op La Franqui, spot is supervlak en heb hier lang naar uitgekeken......Top dag gehad met de mannen uit Holland en hoop hier snel weer te varen !!!

1e dag op LF. Dacht dat ik weer even aan de spot moest wennen maar ook tegen het einde van de dag kwamen de snelheden niet. Drie oorzaken:

1.Ik heb de juiste speedtechniek nog steeds niet door

2. Psychologische rem na mijn chrash op Oud dorp haven. Durfde niet voluit te gaan en dierf me al zeker niet te laten afschieten in zee.

3. Ik krijg mijn materiaal maar niet optimaal getrimt

Sessie 27: Het was even een ritje, maar dan wel heerlijk weer en een mooi windje om alles te testen! Dag 1 van de twee! :-)

Good late warm up session (arrived too late from Italy)....gusty and very shifty...to underpowered!
