Nice battle, missed some power the get 500m bit higher still happy. Think i never did so much 51's on 500m in one day :) 

Did one run after the 40 Knots gusts. Broke sail battens on both of my 5.2 sails and I was out for the day. Need to bring more spares on my next trip to Luderitz. New PB on the 500 and a Vmax of 54.80 knots = 101.49 Km/h. Super happy about that ;-)

Today the wind wasn't that strong but just enough is also good for me. My fastest run had a really nice gust in the beginning but the last part was only decelleration to bad because it would have been a 53+ for sure.

Beautiful Speed Surfing day here in Luderitz. Almost perfect conditions. Was struggling a bit with finding the right equipment. 1st 5.8 with 19 really thin NoLo. Had lots of spin outs, as the canal was too downwind. Put a slightliy thicker fin inside, that was much better. After a while I changed down to 5.2 proto sail wich is insanely good! So fast, unreal. Topspeed of 55.26kn - 102.35 kmh! Super happy with that. But, just after a few runs, right when the wind was kicking in perfectly, my Greek Proto Board delaminated as we were sanding it too much down to the carbon. Had to switch to my old board, wich was ok but I missed about half an hour as that board had a damage from the flight. Had to repair it first with Thorsten Mallon (thanks for your help). Was so close to the German Record, was pretty sure to break it but wind died pretty quickly as predicted. 

Next time, big time!

Windy day on the canel.  I sat out when it was really strong leaving it to the big guys as looked  dangerous butl managed to put down some runs between times. Really waasn't in the mood for crashing.

FrustratedI was not up to my on level, but I guess not bad with a fractured foot.  Posted for keeping diary.

Windy day on the canel.  I sat out when it was really strong leaving it to the big guys as looked  dangerous butl managed to put down some runs between times. Really waasn't in the mood for crashing.

Only 2 runds in Luderitz canal in choopy condition !
