Not so comfortable since it has been a while on the speed board. But still satisfied!

Prachtige dag op La Franqui. De baan was net niet ruim genoeg om de runs bij de piek snelheden te krijgen. Wel heerlijk om weer upwind te varen. 

Mooie dag! Wind begon flink aan te halen dus het speedspul maar uit de kar gehaald. Behoorlijk druk met een flink aantal surfers dus wel oppassen. W49 voelde behoorlijk groot maar ging prima (voor het eerst). De Speedblade was fantastisch. Top 5 sessie.

nice session after 6 month without speed.

Not really fast. But my focus was not only on the speed today.

It was a perfect square-flat-water day to test different sails and fins. 

we saild in good company and everyone was smiling.

good vibes only :-) and finally after 8h sailing we had 50kt gusts.

Felt great to have some power in the sail. But my arms were already death :-)

Very nice first day here with Kes. So good to be back at La Palme and on a speedboard. took the 5.0 for some qualitytime and because of tiredness.. worked very nice and I can take a lot more wind with this so hopefully i'll have my power back tomorrow:) good to see a lot of familiar faces!

Gaaf om weer in het paradijs te kunnen surfen. Helaas na een paar runs al meteen mijn rechterarm opgeblazen. Daarna durfde ik niet meer de zee op te slingshotten en heb ik het halve wind geprobeerd. Goede training omdat ik halve wind niet zo goed ben. Nu goed uitrusten en hopelijk ben ik morgen weer hersteld.

Morning session before going to Defi, flat water and good company. Not fast when we where there, looked like the wind came up for good conditions af we left. Nice first time this year om the speedboard.

Forgot my new motion gps at the house would have likes to see the difference to the coros here.

Really nice to see so many familiar faces. Just had a few runs before heading to the Defi:)

Finally back in Le Rouet after 3 years missing out. Covid19 and some health problems made it difficult for me to come to this fantastic Speed Mecca. Today I finally had a great time on the water with a lot of Sailors I have not seen for long time. Lot's of French Locals, with Jean-Marc and Laurent, the Germans Christian, Tim,Thorsten, the Swiss Heidi and Arnold and many other passionate sailors. Water was super flat and very square and gusty. Happy to see 45 knots max Speed on my display  (I lost my GW60 data) and I just enjoyed Speedsailing without thinking of any Records! Unfortunatly I have to leave!

Finally after about 10years + we managed to create an even better speed board than the series JP 45 Speed. Used my new 45.5 Proto with the brandnew Neil Pryde 5.8 EVO XIII. Wind was pretty light and square, never had 45 knots in straight line or 47 knots in those lightwinds slingshots.

Unfortunately I had to leave at 12.30h to Defi/Gruissan, just before the wind picked up. Looking forward to test that board in overpowered conditions on a 5.2!
