Fun session, Nelson - Atawhai high tide. Wind was NW 15-20knots.
Forecast was for wind peaking in the evening (after the tide had gone out) but I applied the golden rule of using wind while it was there and I'm glad I did! Wind died as the rain came in the evening.
Wind was up and down but as it was NW I tried a couple of NM runs, there was almost enough wind to be powered the entire NM on the second run but sadly had a lull (speed dropped to 23knots) half way through.
