Well, taking into account that it was the first time I:
- Speedsailed since Namibia
- Windsurfed since October 2nd
- Came to Southend
- Used the Naish
- Used a 5,1
- Used 22cm fin
- Sailed with boots
and adding the fact that I am still in one piece, this can only be granted as success.
This was not a good day as people say for Southend. The chop by the end of the run (waves actually - 10 on a row) was lethal!!! I had the most spectacular catapult of my life featuring a full flip on the air but thankfully, no harm done.
Just as I started to figure things out, the wind died but left a big promise for the next gathering. I will definitively be here again
