Just back from Gran Canaria and uploading the session with Bjorn Dunkerbeck from last Thurday the 17th.

Whow, numbers are surreal to me....

Switched the display of the GW 60 GPS watch to Knots to compare the numbers with Bjorn's. Speed genie was set to 40km/hr but became 40 knots when switching over to knots meaning all speeds under 40 knots were not displayed on the watch (however still recorded in the memory)

Did not notice it for a while during the quickest part of the day but did found it odd that my speeds didn't seem to go up.

Luckily everything is recorded in the watch and now that it's uploaded to the site I nearly fell of my chair.

2 seconds maximum speed  36.07 Knots (66.8 km/hr)

5 X 10 seconds average speed 34 knots  (62.94 km/hr)

500 meter speed 34 knots. (62.97 km/hr)

Those speeds are crazy in the conditions we had.

Bjorn's watch showed another knot on max and 0.4 knots on 500 meter.

Super stoked to play out with the Legend. He pushed me to a level I never reached on open ocean.
