Finally the moment is there. The first production fins were brought in and they sure do rock.

We are working towards a line of  8 models designed by Frenchman Olivier Ponrouch. The UFO,Katana, Big Bertha and Little John can be ordered now. For information on lead time, prices and models send a mail to mxrwindsurfing at gmail dot com.

A few short lines on each fin now on sale and some general information.

Each of the fins now on sale works from low board speeds to super high board speeds. This was our main design objective. All fins are made out of G-10 and G-11. The G-11 fins absorb chop a bit more as the tip flexes more compared to the G-10 versions. The G-11 fins are very good for light riders and those that want more added control over chop.Finish is impeccable and fins are protected by our special shaped finholster.

UFO: This is a foregiving superfast fin that eases your board down over chop. Endspeed is similar to the Katana.

KATANA: This is an agressive fins for riders that want their board to ride free. It's a fin for experts or for days in which chop is moderate.

BIG BERTHA: Then name says it all .A fin with a very big surface for it's size. It comes in 30/40 and 45 degrees. I sailed the 30 degree today. The fin is meant for small and big boards alike. Endspeed is mindblowing and the smallest sizes are made with one goal in mind: breaking  records. Still the fins are extremely foregiving and start to work exeptionally well as soon as you start planing.  fin feels at ease when a rider makes sudden transitions, for instance on the run up to a speedbank.  Upwind is really good for a fin with a lot of rake.

The biggest feat though is that the fins can be sailed in short sizes for big boards. I sailed the 24 underneath the 54 and 60 wide board. On both boards it handled the chop exeptionally well, even when I drove the board full throttle over the back of the chop. Justl ike our boards, the fins are aimed at real World Speed and to us GPS speed starts as soon as you start planing. As there are many venues wiith shallow water we wanted to e up with a solution that allows you to look for the flattest sections of a venue in little wind. Obviously you will never get the same lift as you can get on a high aspect fin, but the power of the fin delivers massive support and accelleration when a gust hits is instanteneous. Wé feel very sure our solution will help many riders to get up to higher speeds in an easy way.

LITTLE JOHN: Serge sailed this fin in 20 cm length today underneath a 54 wide board and rode it full throttle over the nasty chop. This finline is meant for high wind downwinders. You give in a little on cross wind and upwinds the fin is a littlebit less stable at lower speeds, but at high speed broad conditions you gain even more control compared to the Big Bertha. The fin  gives the impression as if the board is glued  to the water . Still the board doesn't get sticky.

All in all it was a great feeling to test the frst production fins.
