First time sailing in 25-30 mph wind at Harkers Island. I was happy to be able to handle the conditions, and not really going for speed. The flat water by the banks is great for speed. However, the Mistral slot fin sucks for speed. Switched to a wave fin later and it was noticeably faster, but the tide came out and the shallow flat spot was no longer sailable. This will be the spot to come back to for speed runs.
