This poor GPS time is only interesting because I am carring broken gear (Roo's boom) around my neck and it is dragging in the water....Roo;s comments; "First posting after watching the guys rip up the beach for the last few months. Wind filled in nicely then Roo dissapeared across the river. When we found him he'd snapped his mast in 2. Got my fastest run carrying his boom back in over my shoulder, dragging it in the water. Made me stand more upright and unweight the board, sailing closer to the wind. Roo was right as usual, left him in the channel to swim! Eventually dragged him into the rock wall where he climbed out and Brian picked him up. Figures, the wind dies as he gets back to the beach."
