Pretty hard work sailing dead square, every thing just feels so draggy. Super gusty all day, my wind odometer showed between 13 and 33 knots in a space of 2 minutes. With hind sight a smaller fin and sail would have been better, as I felt like there was plenty of lift from the board at this tight angle, so did not need a big sail or powerful fin. No decent speeds, but it was loads of fun just free sailing on slalom kit for a change, a lot more mileage can be done compared with speed boards. The lake was super busy, 70ish free riders and free stylers out. Plus the usual ball cringing moments with peps not looking were their going.
