Really dissapointing to call the forecast right...the wind was good,,,,except something has gone weard at West Kirby...I think the level of the beach has dropped so the wind gets really tubulant from the wall/rocks. Litterally about 2 knots down on what I would expect from the conditions and had to work really hard in the messy wind.,turned out I would have gone faster at Southend where everybody else went..But I love West Kirby, such a great place to sail...lets hope the beach whatever has happened to the wind quality soon...may just be a neap tide thing,,overall though I enjoyed it and was good to see everybody.
