Started the day with very cold feet and hands. What a difference with the day before! It was really windy and speeds were not that high for me in the beginning. I decided to just let the strongest gusts pass and go out in less wind. That meant standing in the cold water a lot. After an hour or 2 it was a bit warmer and the wind seemed to settle a bit less strong. From that moment I could im prove my speeds a lot. It took a while, though. Happy I didn't use the 4.6. That would have been disaster for sure as almost everybody was on 5-6m sails. I havent't reached the average of 40 kts yet, but i did break the 80kph barrier. Happy boy. Ended the day with and X2 in my left foot and now I am on antibiotics and cannot walk for a while. Painfull ending.
I want to thank the organisers and the weather man for a great event with a lot of happy faces. Job well done!
