I feel I have to comment on my 4.4 KA Koncept sail. I had the smallest sail among all sailors at Sandy Point today. The average wind of 22 knots with gusts to 32 knots means that there were lulls as weak as 12 knots.

Despite the fact that I was underpowered when I tried to go fast, I had a great day and was planing all the time, trying to learn the Sandy Point easterly wind speed sailing, which even experts admit to be tricky.

Even though I was underpowered when I aimed for speed - I still came within one knot of my PB average of 5 * 10 s runs.

I challengs anyone to get planing on a 50 litre board with 4.4 m2 sail with 12-15 knots of wind. The wind range of this sail is amazing: 15 to 45 knots !!!
