Nice session but colder than expected! The wind was not as strong as predicted, but still a good opportunity to sails the Love machine 42 that was designed for Lüderitz, but unfortunately never made it there. The board features a very narrow tails at OFO and was 100% sure the smallest board on the water. Even in the gusty conditions I believe it performed great! I was really surprised abot starting up the board. Jump on and planing instantly. Couldn't be easier for a board this size!! Although I could notice the tail being very narrow, upwind performance was pretty good as well. The board is very comfortable on all courses, also when approaching steep chop back upwind. Braking Lüderitz-style was big fun. Tons of grip in the turn. Hope to get another session in soon, hopefully at The Brace.
