An Easterly that was not forecast to be more than 20 knots kicked in big time mid afternoon to 25-30+ knots. But the time I got to the inlet the tide was rushing in and the usual easterly speed bank was covered adn 2 foot chop. I tried running over the sand bar in 19cm of water with and 18cm fin for a couple of runs, but that was too scary as I didnt know if there were any shallowe spots. I went back the the boathole and tried a few runs. Logit was only telling me I was doing 33-35 knots, but the daya says I was doing 38's. Its a mystery...? Anyhow. It was goo fun, but stopping at the end of the boat hole is always exciting with the sand coming up so fast!
