Driving past and saw some sailors so joined them. Nice bunch of fellas, some who I knew of, through the GPS sites.

Only had Slalom and 7.5 or foil and 5.3. Tried foil, too gusty, switched to slalom board and had some nice runs down the sand bar, very flat water and twice as long as our Greenpark sand bar. Interesting getting to the bar, upwind between the moored yachts, throwing a few tacks in among them to get high enough upwind.

A fast guy could go quick here (which rules me out these days). As it was I felt a fair bit overpowered in the gusts with my raf and didn't last long.
