Started early and the wind wasn't that strong. Perfect for 7.0 or so I thought. Once on the other side, the wind was still not the correct angle so I just went where the wind was. That resulted in 63 run on the middle of the lake. So already happy with that. Later the angle was a bit better for under the shore side. But still to square. I got some other 63 runs in when the wind picked up a bit. But then it got stronger real quick and I thought I'd better switch sail. But then you still gotta cross the lake fully downwind heavily overpowered. That resulted in few swimming sessions. I almost couldn't get the sail out of the water anymore. I had to calm myself and take some rest in between the waves. After a few minutes I tried again and again and again. You just don't have another option really. Luckily I got to one of the shores and walked for a bit. Then finished the downwind crossing to the other side. That's when I called it quits for today.
Days like this on this spot are always a challenge. You really gotta know what you need to do in situations like this. It could've gone very differently. Also I wasn't the only one swimming for a long while today ??

Pretty stoked on the speeds with 7.0 eitherway! And there's no doibt going out again another day ????
