First DeFi race ever.

After a shitty start (way too much downwind) I couldn't point to the first bouy in 1 reach, so had to tack.

After the first bouy there was not enough wind to get planing, so floating for a long time. Almost gave up and then came the wind.

Decided to check how I felt at the second turn and was fine.

The last two reaches were finally full planing and pretty fast. Overtook a lot of other surfers with a nice head to head finish with surfbuddy Steven.

All in all happy first time!
