One of the so called "Big Days" on our lake close to Frankfurt International Airport. Early in 2005 friends and myself started to use different GPS-Tools to figure out how fast we really are. Discussions on the beach started to bore and we all wanted facts to speak.
After several tests we recognized that the Garmin Forerunner 201/301 worked very good and enabled us to export the data and import it to Google-Earth. A sample can be viewed at www.networkbrokers.de/langen.jpg.
It doesn't happen very often, that we have such conditions on our lake due to the fact that it's not a typical windsurfspot. The Ironman Germany is held on our lake and this means, that it is most suitable for swimming rather than for windsurfing ;)... however this day I decided to take my 6.8 GUN TSD and my new Lorch Breeze S with a 38cm Hurricane SRA to have the most fun. And that's it... nothing more...nothing less ;))))
