First went to the raging ball, but the banks are wrong around the back , not like last autumn. There was some nice waves though.
Then went and met up with Peter, Benny and Eric by the marine base also in Den Helder. I rigged the 5,5 again which was a little bit small at first, but the wind picked up for some solid runs later, like predicted.
Peter and Benny where flying and Eric was having fun too, also on the smaller sail.
My 24.5 vin turned into a 23.5 when I hit a bank going too close to the beach, so that will be OK if the wind gets properly strong next time, when I'm recovered from the crash going 40 knots - 0 knots in 2 seconds hitting the boom. Think it would've been better for my ribs if the boom had broken...
