Fun day at Pt Henry.  Sailed from Limeburners again. Begininig to hate that rock wall. Almost vertical climb 15 ft down to the water with big gear.

First sail on the 7.9 KA race. It was only about 10 - 12 knots so I had to pump onto the plane and try to keep there.  Sail felt great ( they had to pry the old 7.3 Koncept from my grip as I LOVED that sail). Happy to say that it does every thing the old 7.3 did and then some. It felt awesome in the one gust there was. Obviously these race sails are designed for RACING and to be used in overpowered conditions. It was great to see they can also be used very well in the light stuff too.

The longer boom gave great control but I need a bigger fin (48?) to suit this sail.

Water was very warm and the sun was out. Just a nice day on the bay all alone....

cheers Tony
