08/01/16 11:30 tried to delete 2 instances of event "Retro Speed Gold Cup 2016", with no immediately visible results, both event instances stayed in the list.

8/01/16 15:20 checked Main menu > Events : now both instances have disappeared from the list.

Is it exspected behaviour that event creation and deletion are not reflected in the list in real time but only after a delay (of several hours - haven't counted this) ?

Yes, this is expected behaviour.

The event list is cached for 15 minutes and after that it is refreshed. So you have to waith 15 minutes before you can see the event. I will add this as remark in the event creation module. I know there are ways to make an intercative cache but I wont implement this soon.
