Hi, not sure if this tip has been posted before but I found that occasionally my GT-31 would become unlocked due to pressure on the toggle switch from being in the waterproof pouch or down the front of my suit. Obviously this can be a serious problem if the unit is accidentally switched off or data cleared.

To overcome this I made a 2cm square of non slip EPM bath mat type material about 2mm thick and cut a small slit in it so that it can be fitted over the TS like a collar. This material is similar to that used on booms. This still allows you to operate the switch to lock and unlock but I find it easier to set everything up first then fit the collar after locking the unit.
