This serves as notice that i will be in Luderitz on Sunday 25 October and Monday 26 October for a Record attempt at Diaz Point. Expected wind 35 to 45 knots.

I made the call to kite on Sunday. Wind was a very gusty and very Southwest. We measured 3 very big surges over 50 knots whereafter the wind dropped to a managable 40 to 45. Good kite session for testing but water conditions too rough for records. I think it was the right call to kite rather than windsurf after the allnight drive. you have to be full corpus mentis to windsurf at Diaz point offshore in 50 knots...Wind prediction dropping off for the rest of the week. Fun testing but no real record wind in sight.
