First time at Alton Water for a very long time - Forcast was 40 knots south - so didnt fancy Felixtowe an tide bit late at Point Clear so thought I try an get some spot records at the Lake - think I got the mile -the Alfa - and the one hour - but 00.2 of a knot off the top speeds Damit !!!  :-(   great day though I enjoyed it once I got the hang of the all or nothing wind - some good O boys there and nice to sail with Neil and Keith
