Nice short afternoon session. Best winds were between 3pm and 4pm. Very very gusty on off winds ranging from less than 10k and gusting up to  over 20k. I wasted loads of time always changing boards, I kept switching between the W58, iS107 and iS130, the wind really did keep changing all time. Fastest speeds were done on the W58. Good to catch up with Ali N and Mark I, regulars Neil and Chris were flying. Good crack

Mast = Tushingham Ultimate Pro 460

Started on the Falcon 133, switched to Falcon 111 and then to  Ray 100 and was nearly going out on the Falcon 80, The wind was up and down, gusty and sometime only at the north end of the lake. Thought I'd broke a batton on the sail at it was not rotating correctly but when I checked it was ok, need to look at the cam spacers. The lake seems to be holding the water higher now the sluice gates have been repaired.  Ground my fin on the wall through sailing  little too close. Good to see Alister on the water, Chris and Mark H.

With the forecast being alot windier I only took my Isonic W49.

So I struggled in the VERY gusty south westerly winds.

However when we had our mad hour later on as Mark H mentioned the W49 was perfect with the C3 26 fin I had in it.

Great to see the boys Mark & Neil & meet Mark I..

Also, it was awesome seeing Alastair have a great day. He's just having problems logging into his account so no doubt he'll post later.

Finally got logged on to post my session from Sunday. What a great day and my first real speed session since recovering from my knee injury, was hoping to get one alot sooner before now but work got in the way every time it was windy :-(

Was gusty as hell, underpowered one minute then stacked the next but enjoyed evry minute of it, just got to get my sailing fitness back to where it was before my injury as my forearms were cramping up almost as soon as i started sailing :-(. Decided just to use my Mistral 112 rather than chopping and changing my boards as it was nice to have that extra volume slogging allong in the lulls, probably would have gone faster on a smaller board though. My goal for the day was anything over 30 knots and achieved that with a peak of 30.07knots so was happy with that

Good to see Mark H, Neil H and Chris B there as well.

I'm Back!!!
