Great early session. With the first sun rays we hit the water. The Waddensea is a magical place to be. Today was no exception.

The R7 did his job excellent. It has a different feeling compared to previous year. A bit softer, the leech is a little less tight and the profile looks better.

'The early bird catches the worm' as the saying goes. Great early morning session on the south bank of the Poepegat. It was difficult judging the conditions from the dike, but most of us rigged 6.3 with boards from 54 wide to 48. Johan decided he needed more sleep and left us to duke it out with nature.

Unfortunately I couldn't find the control I usually have in these conditions, maybe the combo was a bit too big after all? But at least I was getting back to shore sailing, not swimming :) Anyhow, still big time worth the gamble!

Mooie vroege ochtend sessie met een nieuwe speed blade die vertrouwd aanvoelde en een nieuwe hornet II 22 die ook safe en snel aanvoelde, moet nog een beetje meer tunen, maar dan is het weer een top setje.

In mijn track mis ik mijn twee snelste runs ? lekker dan een 82,9 max met een 75 + run en een lekkere nautical verdwenen, staan wel op de kaart maar als een los deel wat niet geaccepteerd word ????

eerste keer de nieuwe loftsails speedblade aan de tand gevoelt en met een beetje meer tuning komt het goed.

ook voor het eerst met een nieuwe 22 hornet II  gevaren, veel lift en vertrouwen geeft ie.
