Today's to do list:

1. Try Matorral in the morning and get ripped off board multiple times by plane induced twisters. Check.

2. Go to Lajas and see if it's any better. Check

3. Take a note of what size sails the good guys are rigging. 3.8. Check

4. Drive 10 miles downwind back to Matorral and rig 5.8 anyway. Check

5. Make sure, as usual, I'm the only person there with no cover and don't bother to tell anyone where I am. Check

6. Hit the water and realise immediately that I may be a tad overpowered but carry on anyway. Check

7. Act surprised when the wind that was at Lajas arrives and adds an instant 10 knots to the wind with gusts another 10 more. Check

8. Make my way back to the nearest bit of coast I can see through the sand storm but not necessarily the best place to land. Check

9. Get battered by the waves which happily come along with the sudden screaming wind on the rocks, nearly breaking a leg and treat myself to numerous cuts and bruises. Check

10. Look for damage to rig once I've dragged it and my sorry self out of the rinse cycle. Check

No damage. Result!

Another great days sailing to add to my list.

Time for a beer.

;-p

First session of the day.

Constant twisters from planes landing and taking off made sailing too frustrating to continue. Second session was to prove even less successful but much more entertaining and a little painful.
