Sessie 30: Topdag op Karpathos! Mijn beste sessie hier ooit! Zwaar omhoog varen, en weer als de brandweer terug...! Verschillende vinnen in het eerste uur gevaren, erg tevreden over het materiaal!

Posting GW60. Today it was the fourth day in a row with very good speeds, Karpathos rocks. Johan was very early on the water and hade a nice average, personal best at karpathos. Very good Johan.  I did not do many runs today, after 5 runs I hade an avg, of 72,9.  This was on the Bpf Type s 26,5. After the brake I took the Sontag SLX 29 and It took me the hole day to bring it up to 74,1on gw 60'  with a nice top speed from 80,25 in 1 sec. On the GT31.After 16:00 our de wind was a little bit dying.  So Oane did not have the best conditions. Also Markus did a very good run of 40 knots,on a slalom board with 90 liter thats fast. Congratulations  it looks like tomorrow there is also  little bit wind. Hopefully enough to do 70 km/h, we will see.

Today I only went surfing in the afternoon, because I thought the wind would drop I took a 3.4, but they only had one with too long harness lines, that was not to do for me. And the 3.4 was also too big. Then I changed sail and boom into 3.0 with shorter harness lines. That was much better, but the conditions outside were very difficult today.

Day 2 on Karpathos. After some sight-seeing on the island earlier, I sailed roughly 2 hours in the late afternoon. By the end the wind was dying down a bit, but still managed to get a last good run in that period. Very pleased with results like this set in such a short amount of time. Last year an average like this took me an entire day ... :D

happy to do 5 runs in this wind, upwind the hell of flying water, also happy with the 10 sec pb in the first run, great feeling to fly down the course with the slalomboard of my wife.

Congrats to Dirk and Johan for the amount of runs in this wind and of course their speeds...
