What an adventure ...

First of all, I want to thank Paul for always trusting me and staying positive all the time, what a guy he is !!

When we arrived at the 'normal' parking spot, we got scared away by a local f*cker. So we had to move to another one.

We ended up walking 2x3km with rigged gear, felt like ages! I tried to sail the first couple of km's, but maybe this wasn't very smart ...

By far the most extreme thing I've ever done in my windsurfing career. Sailing 1,5km in a rough sea, with onshore winds, on a JP45 (what a worldclass board this is, amazes me everytime) with an asy fin. Adrenaline!!

When we finally arrived we checked the depth of the spot.

Today there was one big problem; the angle. It was soooo square. And Google Earth is really wrong about the 'big bank'. On GE it says it's 950m long, but in realtime it's only 300m long. Maybe the bank vanished during the years.

With such a small course, and such I thight angle, it really was super short. Another problem with the 'big bank' is that it's way too high when the water isn't. This means little wind next to the bank, so little wind on the flat section.

The 'small bank' is much longer, but here the depth is a problem. This bank might work 1u30 before and after high tide with NW-NNW.

Think I'll stick to 'standard' session the next weeks ;-)
