Again a nice session with the GPS master of big sets.
Normally i would have been happy with the speeds in these choppy conditions but compared to Wouter its disapointing. Crosswind and upwind speeds were good, but to set a 10sec run i was just too slow.
At least i learned as a beginner in sailing with big sails that i have to take a wider board with this sail size and a bigger fin.
Much different compared to my speed boards were a "big sail" compared to the narrow board and small fin seems to work better.
Wouter beats his old speed record with the 9,0 with 4 or 5km/h difference, congratulations!

Lekker gevaren. Erg blij met de tijden, zeker gezien de condities, geen dam of zandbank maar gewoon door de chop..
Meestal sta ik met dit soort windjes op een formulaboard maar dit is ook leuk.
