Was fairly windy when I arrived but soon died and went more easterly which made for shorter runs and very patchy to start.
I'm of the view that best runs for this spot are across the spit as soon as there is sufficient water and strong wind (NE) Going the other way towards motorway very hard to get good peaks as choppier and angle is not as good. Incoming tide always seems to help. Could have easily managed the conditions with 6.4
