After around 1 month off the slalom gear it was nice to go fast again. Everything brand new except the extension!!! The wind was really gusty, but all the gear felt good across the full wind range. Honestly felt a bit scared to really pin it down and go fast, especially when the big gust came, so speeds were not really that great... but a nice little warm up. and good to start to tune all the new gear up. 

Most impressive thing was some guy on an old 5.5 NP VX. I think it was the original mk1from around 1995. He was flying!!! Downwind we were having a hard time getting past him... very impressive and a little bit embarrasing!
