Unexpected great day! Wind started of light, I had regrets that I didn't rig my 5.8, but later on the wind was fine for the 5.0. Could have handled a lot more though.
Anyway, the wind was great as 17 knots were predicted. We probably had gusts 25.

Perfect summer day !! Sun wind and nice temp. !!!
Started with the van den Berg DS (downwind speed) and later when the wind picked up switched to the AB+ 46.
runs are from both boards. I switched to late to the AB+ maybe the average had been higher.
Strike 22 and 24 performed very well !!

IN my mothers car only fit 2 boards... @ home I didn't see wind comming. Sooo I took the Fanatic Falcon 91+ 79...
On the water it was fine till the windstrenght increased. I did went a bit faster but as most speeders know smaller boards have a lot smaller drag penalty. And in flat + not broad conditions these differences are serious.
I did amuse myself today on the FF79, I mean this is the only slalomboard I have sailed this quick compared to other speedboards. ALso the difference between run nr1 & 10 is less than 1kmh!!!The difference between max speed & 500m is 2kmh!!!
I gave 200% and these results rock!

| Great session. Nice weather, stable wind. Het kuitje is a true speedboard spot but I decided to start out by testing some set-ups for my USM slalomboard. I hope the time was well invested. Luckily the wind stayed until the end of the day which left me some time to rig the MK111 slalom 5.5 and collect my speedboard. The wind was pretty light for the sailsize but the drive from the sail is great. I sailed my last two and fastest runs with that sail, the rest of the runs were set with my slalomboard. The combination with the speedboard and the Venom 24 feels awesome. I can't wait to test the combo at the brace. Jacques was in another league and was already pulling off 70+ km runs in the light winds we had in the beginning when everyone else was struggling to even get close to 70km topspeed.

Disaster. First time at Kuitje and at the first run it went wrong. My set run nicely with the C3 but maybe a bit short at that time, cause suddenly the rear broke out ans bamm; I twisted my left knee. Managed to complete it to the first corner but knew this is it for today.
I got around the corner to see how the knee would behave. At halfwind I knew it was all wrong and had to retire. The injurie became worse and in the strong current I fell. Then you have a problem ! Very strong current which sweeps you off your feet, especially with a bad knee. I got exhausted ant went back.
Went to the therapist right away. It looks good, just need some good rest. It's very demanding the first time, but a thrill as well.

| Nice session with again sunny weather. This is what we receive quite often this year! The board feels very comfortable, but no way I could get it loose. It was riding too flat in these conditions whatever I tried. The Venom 26 was a good match with the board.
