Snapped screwdriver downhauling sail to start and managed to drop gps out of case on concrete ! WSW session. No runs to be had. Wind died leaving me floating at the top end of the course on the other side of the harbour. 15 minute bobble back to shallow water before brief wind squall came thru giving me a 30 knot run towards Birkenhead wharf. Hard work. Fitness level not too bad having surfed most of the year. Ended session derigging sail leaving gear covered with freshly mown grass (Thanks to the Council) Unable to wash gear as hose had been disconnected from tap, albeit Watercare restrictions in place. thanks Watercare!
