Late session with practically nobody else on the water.

It was pretty gusty down the course and very broad. It would be a lovely angle at a spot like Southend of West Kirby but you can't sail so close to the bank at Portland through lack of wind.

It took me a while to get used to the conditions (light / patchy wind by the bank, choppy away from the bank) but I managed to do a few nice runs it was time to call it a day.

Westerly 266-271. Averaging 30 knots, gusting 40 knots.

Good to be out at Weymouth with friends

Unofficial speed week because of Covid. Few of us regular WSW competitors met up and competed in a best 500m. Unfortunately won by yours truly.
