Ik stond underpowered maar was er waarschijnlijk te vroeg op want nu ik dit typ gaat het nog flink los lijkt het

Veel freestylers dus dat was ook uitkijken.

Was bizar druk.

Niet de voorspelde wind gekregen.

Hoek te haaks.

Maar beregezellig weer en er zat er weer 1 dikke run tussen :-)

Jp45 in repair so took the 50. Could use some more wind. Had to be lucky with the gust and a no one on the course. Really crowded and people going upwind near the dam/ not giving any space due to the  square wind

Gave Danny his space (as everyone should do!) and he made an amazing run. Great job mate.

Not my day but had a laugh. Need to say fun to see how people behave when it's busy on the track.

First time I used a asy fin. Point of notice they behave much better when you hit the chop:)

Vandaag afgezakt naar het zuiden  (een beetje zuid).
Omdat David lang genoeg heeft gewacht op zijn Ultimate 5.0 naar Ouddorp gereden.
Daar gesurft in het pierebadje.
Daarin ben ik nooit op z'n best. Dat aan de grond lopen bij het starten vreet energie, vinnen en plezier.
En luisterend naar de mensen om mij heen kon ik aan de krachttermen wel horen dat ik daarin niet alleen sta :-)
Tegen zessen was mijn accu helemaal leeg en was ik zo moet dat i niet meer terug kon varen dus maar gaan lopen.

Weer een heel avontuur

Started with the Manta 54 for a trip to Veermansplaat. Later transferred to the Ouddorp dams. Nice but a bit more wind and a better angle would have been better.

Wind haaks, kom gewicht tekort om die dikke vlagen op te kunnen vangen en omzetten in snelheid. Maar niet zeuren, conditie is top.      Erg druk eerst ook met freestylers later veel speedsurfers, gezellige boel zo.

begonnen met 6.2 op de falcon 79. even naar hompelvoet gevaren 3 runnetjes gezet en weer terug gegaan. dat waren mijn eerste rakjes met m´n ´nieuwe´ 6.2 en gelijk 76 km/u gepiekt en een run van 69 km/u. prima zeiltje;)

5.4 op de 41 was wat aan de kleine kant, maar toch een paar leuke vlagen gehad. helaas 1 runnetje van 69 die ik niet weg kreeg, maar toch tevreden met de resultaten.

lekker dagje. volgende keer iets ruimere wind graag, het was iets te haaks voor ouddorp.

Getuigd op de voorspelling,maar te klein voor de echte wind..lastig starten underpowerd in ondiep water, uiteindelijk toch de manier gevonden die het best bij mij past (verschillende techniekjes gezien vandaag)

This will not be my spot, not today, not ever that is clear. I knew that my fin would be damaged, there is no other way if you want to sail here. That is why I used a wide base fin in G10 and not a carbon fin in combination with my PC2.
I did learn one lession dough and that is that the JP 45 is easier to get started because the tail is wider but the difference is small. The sail has lots of potential so happy with that.
I had some spinouts at high speed but could many to correct the board luckely, guess the fin was to small. That didn't feel comfortable.

You are probably correct Stefan. It would avoid the clogging up of the speed strip at the starting area...
