Nice to get back out at Lynfield with the lads. A bit light for most of the session with the angle a too square for good speeds. The best of the breeze was on the run back to the beach. Great speeds Bruce and Michael on the small gear.

Argh, 1st run out the harness hook exploded. Hard slog back with no harness hook, replacement hook attached. Once back out the wind shift came ~ Southerly & steady increase in wind. At 1st, thought the 4.9m KA Koncept was too small but then a small sail is best practice in case the wind nuked as it can here, survival game is better than pure power.

With the wind being Southerly we could only Reach running square to the wind. If the wind was the required South West we would be able to broad reach enabling a jump higher in speeds.

Bruce & Craig went well on the square course ~ likely the difference between Race Sails & Downwind Speed Sail or there TOW.

Anyway nice to be on the water with sunshine & wind ~ Next time Lads.
