After 40 years windsurfing I finally cracked the 60kmph barrier with a 32.5 knot max on 6.7 and Carbon Art 58 @95L! It was windy and I only had about 45mins in between work meetings so went 6.7 and lit that mofo up! It felt good and wasn't too over powered so I know what the top end of the wind range is now (If Dan is on a 6.2 I'll rig a 6.7!). But I just had lunch and it was pretty uncomfortable trying to digest it while rattling through the chop and fighting gastric reflux!
I was hacking up wind at Shoal Bay and then I'd do the hell brear-away in the gusts to go for the Vmax. Starting to feel more tuned into my gear now. Next stop 33 knots...
