First trip to West Kirby in over 5 years!

Great to see some familiar faces and awesome to sail along the wall at speeds exceeding 40 knots again.

The wind showed some promise early on it wasn't quite enough for me to hit my goal of a 40 average today.

Jim was probably top dog on the water, although I'm not sure what Farrel managed in the light-ish conditions.

Congrats to Charlie for breaking 40 knots on a 90L slalom board.

Nice, but far from perfect day today. Great to see some old and new faces, good to sail with you all again. Shame we only had half winds and struggled to get going most of the time. With hindsight, I should have used either the W49 or a 6.2m. Was fun.

A good turn out of sailors today despite being a very average forcast...was like the old days again! Fun in the sun!

Wind was light but just enough to get the speed sailing buzz.:)

no wind for ages then 2 session in a week

fun day but wrong sail , got to excited as sun was out and made it look windier than it was , under powered all day , had 1 decent run the rest were pants , still was fun and sunny .. great to see everyone and well done to charlie

Great first time at Kirby.

lots of speedsters out .

under cooked the day on 5.2 / 43

bigger plum's next time ??

First time in years seen so many speed sailers out,  rigged the right size sail but did not relized I murdered the sail as was expeting alot more wind and down hauled my sail way to much, so much so downhauled to base to 14cm on a max 13cm and so sounded like a bag of washing walking back up the wall, note to self, less downhaul next time out, also used my carbon boom which is much wider so get more bag in sail, mmmmmm that did also not give good speed as this sail can go faster , felt very comforfable sailing it mind you, just not fast, call me captain slow, guess somone has to come first and last, bugger
