Looked like a good day with 15 mph forecast and sunny :) so after breakfast at The Dip with Mag in the morning the wind was filling in well !!! So after a lunch at home I met up with Peter Cutts at The Manor at one ,he was out with 7m but going going that well at that time so went with the 8.5 on the 135 which proved spot on most of the time although the wind was up and down :( I had a three and a half mile really broad reach to The Dip seeing a porpose or small dolphin - only the second I have ever seen at Felixstowe :) A few sail adjustments on kiter beach and then set off on the beat back in freshening winds sadly the wind keep dropping on the way back but finally made it back !!! There were now several out and I have never seen The Manor so busy !!! I had some great runs with Mark Smalling out on his 145 and 9.2 going really broad in the sea that is alot smoother this end.So a great afternoon sailing in the sunshine with lots of mates including several runs two and a half miles out to sea :)

Starboard isonic 135 - Ezzy 8.5 Infinity
down mid-afternoon. Roger rigging 7.5m and going OKish so tried 7m but not enough so 8.5m on 135l. Quite nice for a while with smooth sea and smooth rolling chop. Tried 7m and OK but always wanted more wind and chop not so friendly, then before going home had 15-20mins with 8.5m. Looked like someone out at Fludyers as I left at 7pm.
Nice day at Manor end Felixtow - lots of sailers there - bit up an down wind - but great summer sail
