Not epic, but by far the best day for 2010 so far. Officially my 3rd fastest session all time. Stayed with the 5.8m as I felt the wind would pick up, but it did not. I felt underpowered most of the time and with hindsight, I really wished I had gone with the 6.3m which think might have been slighlty faster, but pleased with the results considering the lack of power. Was switching between the W44 and W53. The best speeds were done on the W53/30cm tectronic falcon which I am suprised at. Good turn out of UK speedies, Faz, Ian, Stu, Paul, Neil, Peter and Daz. Nice to see them all again after such a long break from speed conditions.

Great day and learned a few things ready for next time:)
Here's the rest of the session.
Not been out on a speedboard much this year so good to be on one again.

A bit rusty but good fun.
2 Boards - Falcon 80, Falcon Speed
3 Sails - X-15 7.0, 6.4, 5.8
Fast run was on the kit listed for the session.
Wind started out W but went SW making the coarse square.
Gybing out of the question since I sprained (rolled) my ankle on Sat (missed the last step) and my fittness need to improve.
Good to be out on the water, Speed board felt very small, it's been ages since I've used it.

Good day at West Kirby, well worth the travelling, started with 6.7 / Falcon 80 and new Caspar 27 fin, just getting 40 knots with this set up. Changed to Falcon speed/ 5.8 / caspar 25 as wind picked up.
Something holding speed back all day today, just was'nt windy enough or the angle was too square or too broad.
Nice to catch up with everyone, till next time!
Some nice pics there Neil, what gloomy old skyline.
