First time out after Pectoral Major reattachement surgery 6 months ago. Seriously lacking strength but good to get out, only managed 2 runs, need to work on getting the strength back that is for sure.  Good to be out with the lads again.
Nice day out with the Lads
Underpowered all day, couldn't get the board to trim flat, was riding with windward rail down
Impressed with how little wind this gear will go in
Makes me nervous for when it does blow hard
Feeling much fitter now-almost back to normal
Missed the best gust as I was approaching the run, thinking this wee 165mm fin is so solid in this chop, when I hit a big wave, lost it, recovering, hit a bigger one, got air, came down in a heap...started the run 30 yards in and still managed 2nd best speed. Last run was fastest.
All the best speeds at the entry, then the wind piked through the rest of the course
I have the feeling Craig will be going to the Kite, as his arm let him down...Too much arm stress on the pole ride
Looked good on the run though, Craig, nice trim.
Mortally infirmed, so what!

Only completed 4 runs.

Went out with the KA 5.7m Sail for 1 run, felt too windy & slow.

Long walk back to change down to the KA 4.9m Sail.

Once back in the water the wind decided to drop, so hard slogging.

Happy that  the Koncept 4.9m is working now in such minimal wind & good foot pressure to stop the small board from pitching;

1) RDM 370 mast, sail head spills & bottom of sail deeper
2) More curve in the botttom battens
3) Wide End Boom...need to make the rear end even wider.
4) & really loose outhaul
(set doesn't look pretty on the beach)

Another 10 knots of wind would make this combo work even better.
