After yesterdays bad first trip out I was keen to have another go !!! so with the sun out I took my gear to Levington Marina where Mag and I started the day with breakfast in the van - even if I did burn the pastries :( Having missed high water and the tide going out all day I rigged and launched from the Marina entrance so I could sail out the channel :) Although the wind was just as gusty as yesterday it was great to be out on the river with more freedom than the local pond :) I had the river nearly to myself apart from the hundreds of birds feeding in the mud :) I made it to the Orwell bridge and returned having to stop and let a large dredger past !!! So a great sail and speed is'nt everything in windsurfing !!!! Mag and I then had a great walk along the muddie river and had lunch in a local pub so a top day out :)
