Great day at Makumba beach! At first I had the 5,6 but it was just too large, so I took the 3,7 for a wave session, after a while I figured I really wanted to set some personal speed records so I went back and got the 5,6. The other guys, Luc, Paul, Otto, Manfred and Jan Hendrik and more were still there so plenty of company. The speeds were amazing, I never expected this!! A great day for myself and the rest of the team, congratulations everyone! 

Perfect day at Makkum. Improved my PB! Also broke the spot record, but there were some other guys that were also going pretty fast, so check the postings later tonight :). 

Top day at Makkum together with the guys from Speedteam Makkum. I was happy to be able to defend my spot record, because 4 others also broke the record of 67,54. 

Especially happy with the max speed of 77+  and the AVG of 72,4. Never thought this would be possible at Makkum.

Wessel congrats with your big PB and of course also Jan Hendrik en Paul.

Excellent day at Makkum Beach, Surfed all day with a lot of team-members of Speed Team Makkum. We all broke a lot of records, both personal best and spot records. Compliments for Wessel, with his new top & Avg speed record, a great job men ! And of course respect for Luc, he was flying today :) Most of all i really really really had so much fun today. PB on AVG, PB for Makkum Beach and back in the top 3 ranking of the Funsport Makkum GPS Challenge.....

After this great had some pizza with all the teammembers and some guest members from Speed Team Lauwersmeer, this is what is all about :)

Very nice day with the makkum speedcrew, for me this is the 2end fastest session ever with PB on 500 meters, was great fun to see everybody flying on this spot.

If somebody 2 month ago told us this was possible on this spot we would have made fun of him.

the old record is broken by 5 guys in one day. the old recordholder was flying and keeps the record, so big congrets to Luc, also congrats for Jan Hendrik, Paul and Wessel with there new PB's.

for myself it was a great day and i changed my sailtrim during the day and improved constantly.

Very glad that i sailed my runs so flat.

Fantastische dag op Makkum. Ongelooflijk wat een tijden er gevaren zijn vandaag..

Voor het mooie had ik wellicht beter 6.2 kunnen varen, kwam constant wat tekort in de runs. Desondanks uiteraard absoluut niet ontevreden.

Luc, gefeliciteerd met je spot PR en de dagzege. Een fantastische prestatie!
